The Art of a Postcard --

Hey guys! I'm back -- sorry for that bit of silence. Life happens! BUT -- I have a bunch of stuff to write about and post for you.

To start --- check these out! Postcards! A friend asked me if i could make some - she recently joined a postcard exchange site (you can check it out HERE) and wondered if I could create some postcards for her. Hmmm - a new challenge! Of course, why not!

Here are some pics of the cards I created. Be sure to click on each picture to see all of the cards in the picture.

She gave me a few "parameters" - some funny, some birthday, etc - and I tried to come up with a good variety and mix, as well as cards for guys who also participate.

Most of the stamp sets and inks I used were from Stampin' Up. The papers are ones i had on hand - basically standard cardstock, or designer paper. Any that are colored in were done with Stampin' Up alcohol markers, or a set of alcohol markers i picked up on amazon. The embellishments - some things I had on hand - ribbon, and a few have Stickles (glitter) on them for some sparkle. I love getting custom orders - sometimes it is so hard coming up with ideas everyone will love. Anytime I can help you with something special - let me know! If i can do it, I'm more than happy too.
