a breath of spring -

Updated: Apr 29, 2020

we have had a bit of rainy weather the past few days - and actually snow too; and we've been staying home due to the virus pandemic -- so, i needed to do something fun and cheery! and this is it! i love this project! i can see many more of these in my future!

this is an SVG cut file from Dreaming Tree. for those that may not be familiar - SVGs are basically cutting files for machines like the #cricut or silhouette - personally, i'm a cricut gal. i LOVE #DreamingTree --- i'm sure you'll see many projects from there. popping up here around the craft table. usually the hardest part of the project is picking out the papers! what i really love about Dreaming Tree -- each file has a list of all the supplies you need, and a step-by-step instruction video. the company's founder - Leo - walks you through, step by step and crafts right along with you. i learn and understand by seeing and doing - so these videos are awesome! it's so easy to get your stuff all cut out, and hit play on the video and follow right along -- and spend some time with Leo ;)

here are the materials used: i use a Cricut Explorer Air 2. the papers and card stock are sheets i had here in the studio. this takes 4 12x12 sheets for the container, 2 12x12 sheets of designed paper to decorate. the daisies - a 12x12 sheet of white card stock, and 1 12x12 of green. you will also need flower stems, glue or adhesive, and any embellishments you might like to add. i also like to add some ink to the edges of the papers to give it a little more depth. if your interested in the file, you can get it here - Watering Pail - Dreaming Tree .

Thanks so much for stopping by! hope to see you again soon!
