Lookin' for Spring - Project: Wrapped Candles

I really love this weeks project -- wrapped candles. These are fairly easy to make - and easy to change out candles to match the season decor. They would also be great for weddings and parties. Look how fun!

Here are the details ---- and the video link for instructions!

Supplies

  • pillar candle - regular or wax coated flame-less. I suggest a white or ivory color.

  • decorative napkin or tissue paper

  • heat tool or iron

  • sanding block or sandpaper

  • scissors

  • plastic wrap/hot pad (optional)

The candles - I got from the Dollar Tree, and I believe he napkins too. A tip --- if you want to craft with napkins - for these candles, or for decoupage, etc -- but don't want to buy a whole package -- check out Etsy. There are many sellers who offer a few napkins in bundles of a few of he same, or in a variety set. Just search for "napkins for crafting".

So -- check out the video to watch just how easy this can be. Be careful -- the heat tool, or iron - obviously - will be hot.
