Welcome to day 7 of Fun and Freebies

Thanks so much for traveling along with this look at the 12 days of Christmas! Today -- we arrive at the 7th day of Christmas! Seven swans a swimming as the carol goes -- and again, with the birds. lol. This does seem to be the last of the bird gifts though -- seems appropriate to, considering swans mate for life.

Following with our pattern -- the Biblical symbolism of seven swans a-swimming represents the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are, according to Catholic Tradition, wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of God.
